Yes! Tours are by appointment only and take place after daycare hours. They last about 30 minutes and include a brief interview to see if we’re a good fit for your family. You’re welcome to bring your child and any questions you may have!

Yes! We are fully licensed through the Wisconsin DCF and certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for all ages. We also complete ongoing training each year to stay current in early childhood care and safety. 

We enroll ages, Infant (6 weeks) to 5 years old.

07:30 am - 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday (All Year Round)

We’re licensed for up to 8 children and never exceed that number. This allows us to provide more personalized care and attention to each child.

Yes! We have 2 friendly dogs and 3 cats. They’re part of our family and are used to being around children. We always supervise interactions and prioritize each child’s safety and comfort. 

Our days are structured but flexible, with a mix of play, learning, meals, rest, and outdoor time. Activities include crafts, storytime, free play, music, and age-appropriate learning—all in a cozy, home-like setting. 

As a small in-home daycare, we do not offer backup care. We notify families as far in advance as possible about any planned closures or time off. Parents are required to have back-up care for planned and unplanned closures.

We provide regular updates through daily notes, messages, and photos on a platform called Brightwheel. Communication is always open—we’re happy to chat about your child’s day at pickup or by message. 

Yes! We use a play-based approach that supports early learning through hands-on activities. We focus on social skills, creativity, and age-appropriate development in a fun and engaging way.

Safety is our top priority. Our home is fully childproofed and meets all state licensing standards. We use safety gates, locked doors, outlet covers, and maintain a clean, secure environment both indoors and outdoors. Each child is signed in and out daily through the Brightwheel app, which also allows for real-time updates and secure communication with parents.

We follow strict health and hygiene practices, including regular handwashing, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and keeping sick children home to prevent the spread of illness. We're also certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for all ages, and we conduct regular emergency drills. With our small group size, we’re able to closely supervise each child at all times.

We occasionally do, but space is very limited. Licensing rules count children under 2 differently, which reduces how many kids we can care for overall. As a small in-home daycare, we typically accept children who are 2 years old or close to it.
